Philosophy is thinking created by people and Religion is the way of life created by God. Religion is like a code of conduct and acts as a manual for Mankind. While Philosophy is the thought process that develops the thinking ability of Human Beings and helps them to understand the basic difference between logical and illogical things. Religion is a perspective about life, the Universe, earth, sun, and the moon and existence of other life on earth. While Philosophy is the critic of Religion and its belief. While every aspect of Religion is logical there may be some things and beliefs that might be termed as illogical and unreasonable. Philosophy is rational thinking based on proper examinations and justifications.
Religion focuses on inculcating the practices and beliefs in Human Beings. Based on the religious scriptures the followers of the religion follow rules and code of conduct which is based on good and bad deeds. Every religion propagates the concept of life after death. While philosophy studies every aspect and belief of religion to provide a rational and logical explanation. Philosophy can even question the existence of religion and the concept of God. Every religion and its practices have been criticized by the critics and philosophers of the religion. Indirectly you can say, Philosophy is a process of critical thinking. Critical thinking of religions can be dangerous and can point out flaws in religions which is can lead to several debates and discussions.
