NEW DELHI: The next round of serological (sero) survey in the national capital is scheduled to begin on Tuesday. Sources said that the sample size this time is likely to be about 17,000 and will cover 11 districts in Delhi which is expected to be completed by 5 September.
Delhi being the second most affected state in the country, has seen a drop in COVID-19 cases increased testing and more access to health care centres.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has conducted a separate serological survey in seven districts, including Balrampur, Gonda, Mau, Unnao, Auraiya, Saharanpur and Gautam Buddha Nagar. “The data will be released by National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai, in mid-September,” said an ICMR official.
