Raman Singh to continue as BJP’s national vice- president, Ramvichar Netam out

BJP national president JP Nadda has announced his new team on . This time, new faces have got more space in the National Executive. At the same time, the height of Chhattisgarh has reduced. Now two out of three faces are out. Dr. Raman Singh has been re-entrusted with the responsibility of National Vice President of party as before.

Rajya Sabha MP from Chhattisgarh, Saroj Pandey and Ramvichar Netam, were still holding important responsibilities at the national level in the BJP. While Saroj Pandey was the national general secretary, Ramvichar Netam was the national president of the Scheduled Tribal Front. It is believed that both the leaders have been removed due to factionalism.

Ramvichar Netam is a prominent tribal leader of Chhattisgarh. He was also the Home Minister in the Raman cabinet from 2008 to 2013. He was then sent to the Rajya Sabha, but from the beginning is considered the leader of Raman Singh’s anti-faction. This is why they were thrown out. Saroj Pandey may get a place during the Union Cabinet expansion.
