Twitter flooded with #BanLakshmiBomb

After the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there has been a long debate in Bollywood about drugs. Many celebrities are being questioned by the NCI.  The drugs connection was revealed in the actor’s death investigation and then celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor can be questioned. Not only these celebrities but also Sushant Singh Rajput girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and his brother are also in custody. This case has taken a big step connecting drugs to the death of the late actor. Only a few actors have come forward and share their views on this case.

At the same time, celebs are taking their side of drugs, which now also includes Akshay Kumar’s name. He too has given his response on the matter through a video. Actually, he has supported Bollywood in the video and said that it is not that all people associated with Bollywood take drugs. This video went viral and has caused hot topic in the media and to the audience.  In the video, Akshay admitted that the drugs problem prevailed in the film industry, but he requested people not to generalise and think that every person associated with the industry has drug links. The superstar also mentioned in his video that any negative news could have a negative impact on a person’s reputation and career. Thus, he requested the media to be sensitive while taking names.

Many Bollywood celebrities have supported Akshay Kumar on this. Akshay Kumar says about the drugs connection that it is not that there is no problem of drugs in Bollywood but it is not that all people take drugs.  Now speaking in favor of Akshay Kumar’s Bollywood celebs, a particular section is not pleased and they are opposing Akshay Kumar’s video. These people have also started a campaign on Twitter, in which Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Laxmi Bomb is demanding a ban. For this, the #BanLaxmiBomb has been tweeting with the hashtag to ban Laxmi Bomb and now it has joined the top trending hashtag, i.e. thousands of people are tweeting on it. The film deals with a ghost seeking vengeance for being wronged and haunts everyone who is staying in the house. The film, directed by Raghava Lawrence, is the Hindi remake of the filmmaker’s 2011 Tamil horror comedy “Kanchana”. It also features Kiara Advani in a pivotal role. People say that Akshay Kumar’s film should be boycotted.

Let us tell you that Akshay folded his hands and pleaded that the industry should not be seen with eyes like the egregious world.  Akshay said, ‘If there is anger in your sentiment today, then that anger is also on our headMany such issues have surfaced since the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.  Who has given us as much pain as you all.” At the same time, he has expressed determination in the investigation in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Akshay Kumar is the the most famous superstar in India right now he has done many films on social issues like “toilet” and “Padman”. They are millions of fans of Akshay Kumar in this country and around the world also but does this video can lead to the hatred of the former actor. But it is the audience only which takes a film to its success or its failure. Let’s see how the Lakshmi bomb reviews occurs and if it gets boycotted by the audience. The film will release on 9th November this year.
