Think India Assam conducted its flagship event Lachit Divas 2021 to honor the spirit of Lachit Borphukan on 24th November 2021. The event began with a video reminiscing the life and service of Lachit Borphukan inspiring the attendees by his patriotism to the Ahom Land. The Chief Guest Dr. Numal Momin, Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly inspired the students with the Battle of Saraighat and asked them to display similar patriotism towards our Nation to make it a Vishwa Guru.
The event was also attended by Guest of Honor Dr. Sriparna B. Baruah, the Head of Center for Industrial Outreach at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship. She gave the attendees practical advice on how great leaders are made and said how success for the Nation and individual are achieved through relentless pursuit of clear goals. Further she spoke how for the Nation to progress, women must progress and pursue entrepreneurship in greater numbers, and how one can learn the spirit of entrepreneurship from leaders such as Lachit Borphukan and the founder of Nykaa, and learn that anyone can achieve great heights.
The Academic Registrar of National Law University and Judicial Academy Dr. Nandarani Choudhury, Assam gave the vote of thanks and inspired women everywhere with her words on how women can transmute impossibilities into possibilities. The event was also attended by Shri Neeraj Ghelani, Shri Ganesh Kunde and Shri Gaurav Mishra, office bearers of Think India north east region. The event was also joined by students from premier institutes across nation.
